Health Behaviour in School-age Children

Abstract: The purpose of this report is to present an outline of selected publications and to provide a complete list of publications from the first (1983/84) and second (1985) surveys. Several types of publications have been included: articles in international and national journals, papers presented at international conferences, and national reports. The summaries of selected publications are placed in nine categories, including general descriptions of the study, presentations of findings concerning health behaviours such as smoking and physical activity, and presentations of implications of the survey findings. Publications from the third (1989/90) survey, such as the reporting of results concerning AIDS from the pilot study by Currie (1990), are not covered by this report.
